This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in resolving intricate client situations by performing thorough data research and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with the account team to pinpoint cost drivers, shifts in utilization, and clinical opportunities within a client's portfolio, recommending plan design modifications to reduce expenditures.
• Act as the main point of contact between Account Management and the Reporting/Data Analyst teams to ensure that client reporting requirements are both technically feasible and strategically effective.
• Analyze pharmacy claims data, trend analysis, and rebate projections to deliver "the narrative behind the numbers" for client presentations and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
• Ensure the accuracy of client-facing financial reports, confirming that data aligns with contractual obligations and client expectations.
• Represent the Account Management team by working with internal technical teams to enhance automated reporting tools and identify product deficiencies based on client feedback and data constraints.
• Evaluate financial data for signs of client attrition risk and collaborate with Account Managers to formulate data-driven strategies for mitigation.
• Serve as a data mentor to Account Managers, guiding them on how to interpret financial metrics and effectively present data-intensive slides.
• Engage in meetings with both existing and prospective clients.
• Extensive expertise in the pharmacy benefits sector, including knowledge of AWP, NADAC, rebates, formulary impact, and pharmacy network modeling.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, financial underwriting, or actuarial support within the healthcare and/or PBM industry.
• Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, PowerBI) and advanced Excel capabilities (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, modeling).
• The exceptional ability to convert "data-speak" into insights suitable for executive-level audiences, including C-suite leaders and non-technical stakeholders.
• A strong enthusiasm for addressing challenging problems in collaboration with both technical developers and account managers.
• A commitment to data precision and a disciplined work ethic that ensures deliverables are completed with minimal guidance.
• Capacity to view situations from the client’s financial perspective and offer proactive, candid, and transparent recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent experience is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel approximately 15-20% for client meetings.
