This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Assist in the monthly closing process, quarterly rolling forecasts, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses as needed.
• Prepare and submit reports to corporate partners.
• Offer insights that enhance operational and strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with Finance Operations, clinical leaders, and cross-functional teams to assess financial performance, identify trends, and support process improvements.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings.
• Lead or contribute to special projects as required.
• Analyze and interpret financial data to aid decision support.
• Gather and scrutinize assumptions, develop financial proformas, and assist with business planning.
• Oversee financial processes including operating budgets, forecasting, program reporting and analysis, charge management, cost accounting, decision support, and contracting and reimbursement analysis.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and assist internal customers with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement operational improvements and efficiencies.
• Provide strategic financial guidance based on data analysis.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of financial systems software.
• Develop and present financial indicators and educational programs.
• Prepare management and regulatory reports and assist in formulating performance measures.
• Offer financial analysis support across multiple facilities where applicable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Over 7 years of experience in financial management.
• Ability to work independently while prioritizing multiple projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in effective verbal and written communication with all staff levels and external professionals.
• Competence in advanced software applications.
• Demonstrated advanced analytical and modeling capabilities.
• Knowledge and operational skills in the healthcare sector.
• Strong leadership qualities and self-confidence.
• Capability to comprehend and interpret technical pronouncements.
• Ability to identify compliance issues and make autonomous decisions.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
• A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare financial management is preferred.
• Additional related education and/or experience is preferred.
• Candidates must reside in the state of Arizona.
• Availability required Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Arizona Time.
