This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide guidance to colleges and universities regarding the configuration, optimization, and integration of financial aid systems.
• Offer functional leadership for workflows related to financial aid technology, reporting processes, and data exchanges.
• Convert regulatory and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Analyze, diagnose, and address challenges related to systems, workflows, and data.
• Identify opportunities for process automation, reduction of manual tasks, and enhancement of operational efficiency.
• Assist in system implementations, upgrades, testing, validation, and modernization projects.
• Enhance data controls, reconciliations, reporting capabilities, and overall effectiveness of systems.
• Create documentation, playbooks, recommendations, and best-practice guidance customized to meet institutional needs.
• Act as a reliable technical partner for financial aid offices, information technology teams, enrollment leaders, and executive stakeholders.
• Extensive experience with one or more higher education enterprise systems such as Banner, PeopleSoft, Workday, PowerFAIDS, Colleague, or equivalent platforms.
• In-depth understanding of financial aid operations and the systems that facilitate compliance and student services.
• Proven experience in system configuration, implementation, integration, testing, and optimization.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Competence in evaluating current processes and suggesting improvements for future states.
• Experience in communicating technical concepts to functional staff, institutional leaders, and executive stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational, project management, and client relationship abilities.
• Background in higher education technology, financial aid administration, ERP environments, consulting, or system implementation projects.
