Financial Aid Disbursements and R2T4 Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accurately process federal Title IV financial aid disbursements, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and institutional standards.

• Execute Return to Title IV (R2T4) calculations and institutional refund assessments.

• Manage student withdrawals while completing necessary documentation and reporting.

• Address financial aid inquiries from assigned schools and offer operational assistance.

• Tackle daily financial aid challenges in collaboration with school administrators.

• Conduct audits, identify inconsistencies, and uphold comprehensive and precise financial aid records.

• Utilize FAME, COD, and internal systems effectively.

• Work closely with the team to exchange knowledge, ensure coverage, and enhance processes.

• Facilitate consistent and compliant financial aid services for client educational institutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in administering federal financial aid.

• Robust understanding of Title IV regulations, including disbursement processes, Return to Title IV (R2T4) calculations, and refund procedures.

• Experience utilizing financial aid and student information systems.

• Familiarity with FAME software, COD, NSLDS, or comparable financial aid platforms is highly regarded.

• Capability to adapt to new technologies and manage multiple systems concurrently.

• Exceptional attention to detail, alongside disciplined review, auditing, and validation of information.

• Skill in prioritizing multiple tasks without sacrificing quality.

• Clear communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an accessible manner.

• Capacity to work autonomously in a remote setting while collaborating with a team.

• Must possess legal eligibility to work in the United States on an ongoing basis.

• Must reside within the United States.

• Ability to primarily work during Eastern Time hours.
