Financial Aid Disbursement and R2T4 Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Accurately process federal Title IV financial aid disbursements in a timely manner, adhering to regulations and institutional requirements.

• Execute Return to Title IV (R2T4) and institutional refund calculations.

• Handle student withdrawals and ensure completion of necessary documentation and reporting.

• Address financial aid inquiries from assigned schools and provide operational support.

• Resolve daily financial aid challenges in collaboration with school administrators.

• Conduct audits, identify discrepancies, and maintain comprehensive and precise financial aid records.

• Engage with FAME, COD, and other internal systems.

• Collaborate with the team to exchange knowledge, provide coverage, and enhance processes.

• Ensure seamless financial aid operations for a designated portfolio of schools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in administering federal financial aid.

• Strong comprehension of Title IV regulations, including disbursements, Return to Title IV (R2T4) calculations, and refund processing.

• Experience in working with financial aid and student information systems.

• Proficiency with FAME software, COD, NSLDS, or other comparable financial aid platforms is highly regarded.

• Capability to learn new technologies and navigate multiple systems concurrently.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a disciplined approach to reviewing, auditing, and validating information.

• Ability to manage various priorities without sacrificing quality.

• Strong communication skills with the capacity to make complex information easily understandable.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a remote team.

• Self-driven, inquisitive, accountable, and dedicated to accuracy and compliance.

• Working hours should primarily align with the Eastern Time zone.
