This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Conduct annual reviews of financial aid files for client institutions.
• Evaluate samples of student records to ensure compliance with Title IV regulations.
• Identify potential risks and areas for enhancement, offering guidance to improve financial aid processes.
• Address institutional questions related to Title IV regulations and financial aid operations.
• Execute verification reviews.
• Carry out Return to Title IV (R2T4) calculations.
• Deliver practical compliance-focused advice to administrators.
• Collaborate with colleagues to address complex regulatory inquiries.
• Keep abreast of changing federal regulations.
• Contribute to internal documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Engage in ongoing learning to enhance service delivery.
• Assist with institutional reviews, training, or relationship-building activities, which may require occasional travel.
• Practical experience in financial aid administration within a college, university, career school, or trade school setting.
• Familiarity with Title IV programs.
• Knowledge of awarding, packaging, verification, and Return to Title IV (R2T4) calculations.
• Experience in reviewing student files, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
• Strong grasp of Title IV funding programs and the federal student aid regulatory framework.
• Capacity to interpret complex regulatory guidance and implement it operationally.
• Ability to recognize compliance risks and provide actionable guidance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with financial aid systems or case management tools.
• Familiarity with Zendesk is a plus.
• Excellent and professional communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to client locations or conferences.
• Working hours aligned with the Eastern Time zone.
