Finance Systems – Transformation Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and take ownership of a long-term Finance Systems roadmap that aligns with business priorities and supports operational scalability.

• Spearhead Finance technology transformation initiatives and strategic efforts to modernize processes, ensuring the Finance team is prepared for public company readiness.

• Evaluate Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash workflows to simplify, standardize, and automate them effectively.

• Act as a liaison between Finance and technical teams by converting business requirements into scalable system solutions, overseeing delivery, adoption, and change management.

• Direct enterprise-wide Finance system implementations, significant enhancements, and platform migrations.

• Manage cross-functional dependency mapping and document the impacts of implementations both upstream and downstream.

• Integrate IT General Controls into new systems and establish a SOX-compliant control environment.

• Oversee integrations and address recurring failure points within the Finance technology stack.

• Ensure the integrity of Finance data flow, resolve mapping issues, and eliminate hazardous manual workarounds.

• Create reconciliation frameworks and automated controls that identify discrepancies in real time.

• Design, prototype, and implement AI agents and intelligent workflows for Finance operations.

• Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to establish secure, governed AI-enabled workflows.

• Define AI governance protocols, including data access controls, acceptable-use policies, auditability standards, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Finance Systems, Enterprise Applications, Business Systems, or Finance Transformation within a rapidly growing technology company.

• Extensive knowledge of Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Treasury, and Financial Close processes.

• Demonstrated experience in leading enterprise system implementations and large-scale cross-functional initiatives from requirements gathering through to go-live and adoption.

• Practical experience in managing and optimizing Finance technology ecosystems.

• Proficiency in NetSuite is required.

• Familiarity with Stripe, Ramp, Workday, or CaptivateIQ is considered a significant advantage.

• Experience in designing and managing integrations across enterprise business applications.

• Strong data skills, including SQL, API integrations, data transformation with dbt, and transferring data between the warehouse and Finance stack.
