Finance Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversees the implementation of finance systems in collaboration with finance and IT teams, often taking on the role of project manager.

• Provides technical support to end users either independently or in conjunction with external support resources, depending on the system in use.

• Works closely with the CargoScience software development team for any necessary development to facilitate new or ongoing system implementations.

• Develops and enacts project communication strategies, offering status updates to relevant staff and stakeholders.

• Collaborates with the IT and Finance departments to ensure the availability of system documentation and training for both new and existing users.

• Participates in or leads the configuration of systems and quality assurance testing.

• Engages with business units to enhance current systems and processes, and aids in the development of business cases.

• Partners with IT and Finance teams to define the scope of new projects.

• Provides research support for specifications related to new system integrations or interfaces.

• Manages the technical aspects of system integrations and interfaces.

• Ensures that all project deliverables are completed and obtains final sign-off from the relevant business unit.

• Aids in creating business test cases and documents testing procedures during the implementation and rollout of finance systems.

• Follows up to gather business feedback on the solutions provided.

• Performs additional job-related tasks as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Technology, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 3+ years of experience in supporting, implementing, or administering enterprise finance systems.

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting ERP solutions within a global organization.

• Mandatory experience with the implementation and/or administration of NetSuite.

• Familiarity with ADP, Deel, an HRIS platform (preferably DarwinBox), and a travel and expense management system (preferably Brex) is advantageous.

• Strong proficiency in business applications with a quick aptitude for learning new systems and technologies.

• In-depth understanding of ERP concepts and finance system integrations.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective work across teams and with external partners.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to finance systems.

• Strong organizational abilities and a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to develop training materials and conduct system training during implementations and ongoing support.

• Experience in providing technical training or customer support is a plus.
