Finance System Initiatives Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee global e-invoicing and digital regulatory compliance initiatives across various countries, legal entities, and ERP systems.

• Track regulatory changes, evaluate business and system implications, and manage the implementation of necessary adjustments.

• Recognize, communicate, and assist in addressing regulatory compliance risks.

• Spearhead localization projects at the country level, ensuring ERP processes are in line with local statutory, reporting, and invoicing standards.

• Manage the deployment of new legal entities and company codes, encompassing requirements gathering, configuration readiness, and cross-functional validation.

• Evaluate ERP and compliance repercussions stemming from organizational changes, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring of legal entities.

• Take ownership of functional requirements and design decisions related to ERP configurations.

• Document, configure, validate, and sustain compliant ERP solutions in collaboration with Finance, Compliance, and Digital Technology teams.

• Conduct compliance validations for transaction precision, statutory alignment, reporting support, and control effectiveness.

• Oversee System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.

• Develop comprehensive test scenarios and facilitate business involvement.

• Manage defect resolution, retesting, readiness for implementation, and post-deployment stabilization.

• Direct ERP governance activities, including the evaluation, prioritization, and coordination of Requests for Change.

• Administer cross-functional project plans, dependencies, risks, decisions, and communication with stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with enterprise ERP standards, financial controls, and regulatory obligations.

• Act as the finance functional liaison across Finance, Compliance, Controllership, Digital Technology, Master Data Management, and business operations.

• Collaborate with external advisors and solution providers.

• Convert regulatory and business requirements into actionable tasks, design inputs, validation criteria, and implementation strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in leading or supporting global ERP finance, e-invoicing, regulatory compliance, country localization, or finance transformation projects.

• In-depth understanding of ERP finance processes, system configuration, statutory compliance, and multinational regulatory frameworks.

• Proven capability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, external consultants, and geographically distributed teams.

• Strong analytical, project management, communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
