Finance Specialist – Project Control

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete financial management of projects related to parts supply, repairs, and overhaul business.

• Lead compliance with technical accounting standards and uphold financial and operational internal controls.

• Evaluate, track, and manage financial transactions within the project's framework.

• Ensure that committed costs and completion costs are recorded, validated, and substantiated.

• Manage and reconcile project outcomes, accounts, and associated balance sheet entries.

• Identify and evaluate project risks and opportunities.

• Monitor and predict project cash flows, revenues, and profit margins.

• Establish and oversee project warranty pools.

• Implement and sustain strong, compliant financial processes and internal controls, including Delegation of Authority.

• Facilitate internal and statutory audits for the core portfolio.

• Prepare regular partial and consolidated financial summaries and presentations for projects.

• Lead monthly and quarterly financial reporting for Management Information Systems (MIS) and Project Business Reviews.

• Provide accurate financial information to support management decision-making.

• Promote process simplification, automation, operational excellence, data automation, and analytics.

• Collaborate with operations and the broader business as an operational finance partner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A qualified Chartered Accountant is preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project, business, or factory controlling.

• Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards and US GAAP.

• Familiarity with management accounting principles.

• Knowledge of internal control systems.

• Proficiency in ERP SAP (FICO).

• Understanding of foreign currency hedging and forward contracts.

• Proactive mindset towards process enhancements.

• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and capability to foster cross-functional collaboration.
