This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +2 more countries.
• Define the programme's scope, objectives, and framework.
• Lead the development of the financial business case.
• Establish governance and controls that align with Finance, Data, and Change frameworks.
• Ensure compliance and implement effective risk management strategies.
• Take ownership of programme plans, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
• Maintain transparency regarding milestones, costs, and benefits.
• Ensure that delivery outcomes align with strategic objectives and facilitate Finance and Regulatory Reporting transformation.
• Assign and optimize resources across Finance, Data, and Change communities.
• Build and sustain relationships with senior stakeholders while influencing decisions.
• Manage programme-level risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Coach project managers and serve as an escalation point for delivery challenges.
• Monitor and report on programme costs and benefits, ensuring delivery remains within budget.
• Lead investment governance activities, which include business case reviews, benefit realization, and post-investment appraisals.
• Promote the adoption of data governance standards and ensure consistent data collection and reporting.
• Collaborate with customer experience teams to implement improvements enabled by Finance and Regulatory Reporting changes.
• Programme management qualifications such as MSP, PgMP, or APM.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering strategic Finance and Regulatory Reporting transformation initiatives.
• Experience in managing complex programmes with multiple dependencies across Finance, Data, and Change portfolios.
• Strong financial acumen, including investment appraisal, budgeting, forecasting, and benefits tracking.
• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end Finance processes such as FP&A.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards, risk management, and dependency management.
• Knowledge of data governance principles.
• Strong stakeholder management abilities and the capability to influence at senior levels across various business areas.
• Experience with hybrid delivery methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Understanding of enterprise change standards.
• Familiarity with finance systems and data management principles.
• Awareness of emerging technologies, including RPA and AI.
• Strong analytical skills.
