πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Assist the Senior Finance Project Accountant in managing up to $12 million in fee-based revenue, ensuring that projects are reconciled to meet audit-ready standards.

β€’ Oversee the daily management of VP finance reporting packs.

β€’ Collaborate with the senior finance team and Client Services to enhance recoverability and productivity.

β€’ Aid in the completion and evaluation of reports, offering recommendations to senior finance team members.

β€’ Conduct job profitability analyses and communicate with Client Services regarding variances, as well as client commercial and financial issues.

β€’ Generate and verify client estimates, benchmarking them against similar projects to ensure accurate billing.

β€’ Provide support to Client Services with monthly reconciliations and respond to ad-hoc inquiries.

β€’ Address system or reporting challenges as they arise.

β€’ Assist staff with questions related to Paprika and process/policy issues.

β€’ Engage with clients to resolve budgeting and job administration concerns.

β€’ Take part in client meetings to support the Client Services team.

β€’ Contribute to month-end management accounts, with a focus on revenue recognition and work in progress (WIP).

β€’ Help ensure that financial transactions adhere to policies and procedures, and identify any breaches.

β€’ Issue sales invoices and ensure the timely receipt of payments.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Several years of experience in the Marketing/Advertising/Comms industry, ideally with some exposure to the international Med Comms sector.

β€’ Solid understanding of industry standards, including accounting principles, especially concerning revenue recognition.

β€’ Familiarity with Paprika accounting software or a comparable advanced project management system.

β€’ Proficient in MS Office applications.

β€’ Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.

β€’ Effective time management and organizational abilities.

β€’ Strong team communication and influencing capabilities.

β€’ A proactive and adaptable mindset; adept at problem-solving and embracing new systems while sharing innovative ideas.

β€’ A finance or accounting degree and/or part qualification from a relevant professional body is desirable.

β€’ Capacity to work collaboratively and independently within a predominantly remote, communicative, and supportive setting.
