Finance Operations Workflow Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and create low-code / no-code agents and workflows that automate repetitive finance operations tasks and analyses.

• Optimize, validate, and continually enhance agent outputs for precision, thoroughness, clarity, and auditability.

• Convert vague finance operations requirements into structured logic, rules, and workflows that agents can execute with reliability.

• Develop workflows that facilitate exception handling, approvals, escalations, and control checkpoints.

• Define and uphold fundamental finance operations logic across billing, collections, payables, reconciliations, close support, revenue operations, and reporting.

• Ensure consistency across ERP, CRM, billing systems, data warehouses, dashboards, and executive reporting.

• Identify and address gaps in data quality, process transitions, ownership, and system logic.

• Map current finance workflows and design scalable future processes.

• Create automation that minimizes manual tasks while maintaining appropriate review, approval, and compliance standards.

• Assist in finance transformation initiatives across systems, workflows, reporting, and operational cadence.

• Design processes that are repeatable, measurable, and robust across regions, entities, and business models.

• Conduct in-depth analyses of operational bottlenecks, revenue and client margin forecasts, cash conversion, billing accuracy, collections risk, close timelines, reconciliation challenges, and process performance.

• Develop scenario models for planning, trade-offs, resource allocation, and support for leadership decisions.

• Design the logic for finance operations dashboards, narratives, controls reporting, and executive insights.

• Review agent-generated reports for accuracy, completeness, and decision-making utility.

• Establish metrics that assist leadership in understanding process health, financial risk, and operational throughput.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong business acumen regarding finance workflows, controls, process design, and operational risk.

• Experience in building or maintaining finance operations workflows, metrics frameworks, analytical models, controls or reconciliation processes, and automated or semi-automated workflows.

• High proficiency in translating business inquiries and process needs into structured logic.

• Familiarity with low-code / no-code tools such as n8n, Airtable, Zapier, Make, or similar platforms.

• Understanding of finance systems, ERP architectures, billing platforms, CRM data, or related operational systems.

• Exposure to data warehouses, with a preference for Snowflake.

• Experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar.

• Background with ERP or finance platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.

• Knowledge of order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, close management, or revenue operations processes.

• Comfort in collaborating with both technical and finance stakeholders.

• Experience supporting global or multi-entity finance operations.

• Advanced English proficiency is necessary for effective communication with international teams and stakeholders.

• 5+ years of experience in Finance Operations, Accounting Operations, FP&A Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, or Finance Transformation.
