This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Responsible for daily bookkeeping, general ledger oversight, and monthly closing processes for both entities.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely vendor payments, customer invoicing, and collections.
• Compile monthly consolidated management accounts and investor reports, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and variance analysis.
• Monitor and forecast cash flow, providing bi-monthly insights for the group.
• Oversee banking relationships and manage payment run approvals and controls.
• Execute end-to-end payroll for Singapore and Malaysia, including statutory deductions, payment processing, and resolution of inquiries from tax authorities.
• Handle statutory filings such as income tax, SST (Malaysia), GST (Singapore), EPF, SOCSO, and PCB.
• Provide advisory on cross-border withholding tax matters.
• Coordinate the annual audit process by preparing supporting schedules and liaising with external auditors.
• Conduct tax computation and ensure annual compliance while collaborating closely with external tax advisors, legal counsel, and the company secretary.
• Collaborate with department heads on budgeting, cost management, and financial decisions impacting their teams.
• Act as the primary finance contact for the CEO.
• Conduct initial reviews of commercial contracts.
• Enhance and maintain financial systems to minimize manual procedures.
• Optimize working capital and proactively identify liquidity risks for the CEO.
• Perform trend analysis and financial forecasting.
• Develop and sustain financial models.
• Conduct quarterly budgeting by function, monitor actuals against budget, and provide variance commentary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; ACCA or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting, FP&A, tax, audit, and payroll, specifically in both Malaysia and Singapore.
• Familiarity with MFRS and SFRS, and comfortable operating under both frameworks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of MY and SG taxation, including income tax, SST, GST, EPF, CPF, SOCSO, PCB, and cross-border withholding tax.
• Ability to create a financial model from the ground up and explain its components to non-finance individuals.
• Comfortable with initial contract reviews and aware of matters that require legal escalation.
• Proficient in Xero or similar accounting software.

• - Candidates must possess hands-on accounting experience in both Singapore and Malaysia. Applications from individuals without relevant MY & SG accounting experience will not be considered.
