Finance Operations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Manage financial operations related to clients, including invoicing, bill payments, escrow management, and financial audits throughout the client experience.

• Assist with Accounts Payable for ConceiveAbilities.

• Participate in financial reporting tasks.

• Organize work to support client-facing processes by developing and maintaining measurable tasks, checklists, and KPIs.

• Coordinate with clients and vendors to handle and complete financial tasks and business operation requests.

• Generate client invoices, manage bills, and process payments in accordance with customer journeys.

• Conduct regular audits of client escrow accounts.

• Work collaboratively with Sales, Legal, and Operations to prioritize tasks and address customer-facing issues.

• Aid in month-end and year-end closing processes, annual audit assistance, and federal, state, and municipal filings.

• Offer ad-hoc analytical support for company-wide initiatives and strategic planning.

• Engage in cross-training with other members of the financial team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or equivalent experience of at least 3 years in lieu of a degree.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficient in Excel.

• Knowledge of QuickBooks Online, Salesforce, and Bill.com is advantageous.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong business acumen.

• Effective collaborative problem-solving skills.
