Finance Operations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Organize efforts to support client-facing operations by developing and maintaining measurable tasks, checklists, and KPIs.

• Communicate with ConceiveAbilities clients and vendors to effectively manage and fulfill financial tasks and requests related to business functions.

• Generate accurate client invoices, manage billing, and process payments in accordance with customer journeys.

• Conduct regular audits of client escrow accounts.

• Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Legal, Operations) to prioritize tasks and quickly address customer-facing challenges.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, annual audit support, and certain federal, state, and local filings.

• Provide ad-hoc analytical support for initiatives and strategies across the company.

• Engage in cross-training with other members of the financial team.

• Support Accounts Payable and financial reporting activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred, or at least 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficient in Excel.

• Experience with QuickBooks Online, Salesforce, and Bill.com is advantageous.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Capable of multitasking effectively.

• Strong business acumen and collaborative problem-solving skills.
