This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• In the role of Finance Manager, you will be jointly responsible for our entire finance function alongside your colleague from accounting.

• You complement each other as a strong team: While your focus is on operational accounting and payment management, you will specifically oversee controlling, planning, reporting, and the continuous advancement of our finance processes.

• At the same time, you will work closely together, support each other, and ensure that our finance department remains reliable and operational at all times.

• As a sparring partner to management, you will create transparency regarding our economic development and provide the foundation for informed business decisions.

• You will oversee our budgeting process and rolling forecasts, regularly analyzing plan-actual deviations.

• You will continuously develop our liquidity planning and ensure a robust cost center and financial structure.

• You will prepare decision-relevant key figures for management, investors, and our board, while continuously evolving our reporting.

• You will take responsibility for our monthly management reporting and quarterly reporting to our shareholders.

• You will develop our KPI framework around SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, Net Revenue Retention, or Churn, ensuring consistent definition and interpretation of these metrics.

• Together with your colleague, you will be responsible for preparatory accounting and support the gradual development of additional internal accounting competencies.

• You will ensure a professional cash management system, handle payment transactions, and produce high-quality monthly financial statements.

• You will closely collaborate with our tax advisor to ensure a clean transition between management reporting and HGB financial statements.

• You will optimize existing finance processes, identify automation potential, and implement new tools and systems from selection to rollout.

• You view finance not merely as an administrative function, but as an active contributor to the company's success, bringing your own ideas for the development of our organization.

• SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, Churn, or Net Revenue Retention are not just buzzwords for you, but key performance indicators for a software company.

• Experience with BI solutions, automation tools, as well as DATEV or Circula is a plus.

• You work analytically, structured, and solution-oriented, while always maintaining a pragmatic focus on the essentials.

• You have strong communication skills, enjoy cross-departmental collaboration, and can convey complex financial relationships in an understandable manner.

• You are comfortable with both strategic issues and day-to-day operations, and you are willing to lend a hand where support is needed.

• Excellent German language skills and good English proficiency, both spoken and written, complete your profile.
