This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.
• Assist in the monthly and quarterly consolidation of corporate finances and the reporting processes.
• Prepare and record journal entries at the corporate level and for topside adjustments.
• Oversee reporting and roll-forward schedules for corporate-managed accounts, including contingent consideration, intangible assets, and equity investments.
• Ensure timely completion of quarterly audit requests and adherence to SOX compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with both internal and external auditors by supplying precise financial information and necessary documentation.
• Provide support for accounting issues related to mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
• Evaluate complex accounting challenges and propose suitable solutions and mitigation strategies.
• Work with cross-functional finance teams to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and identify automation opportunities.
• Engage in process improvement and transformation projects within the finance department.
• Assist senior finance leadership on special projects, including those for the CFO organization, Worldwide Controller’s Office, Audit Committee, and Investor Relations.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory obligations.
• Carry out additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, especially in financial reporting and consolidation contexts.
• Experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements and reporting packages.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly with large and complex datasets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict month-end and quarter-end deadlines.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work autonomously while fostering collaboration across teams.
• Experience in handling confidential financial data.
• Previous experience in financial consolidation and corporate reporting is advantageous.
• Familiarity with consolidation platforms like Oracle FCCS, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), or similar systems is preferred.
• Experience with SAP, PeopleSoft, or other ERP systems is desirable.
• Knowledge of accounting for mergers and acquisitions is beneficial.
• Familiarity with finance process automation tools such as Alteryx or similar technologies is favorable.
• Experience in supporting SOX controls, audit processes, and external reporting obligations is a plus.
