Finance Manager – Benefits FP&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Act as a financial partner to both business and finance leadership, converting financial performance data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

• Evaluate actuals, budget, forecast, and previous year performance, pinpointing essential drivers, trends, and potential risks.

• Employ advanced analytics and AI-driven tools to enhance forecasting, identify risks, and facilitate proactive decision-making.

• Develop and present financial materials for leadership meetings, articulating financial implications, trade-offs, and recommendations.

• Assist with Benefits FP&A planning, encompassing long-range planning, budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, and staffing operations.

• Contribute to the automation and transformation of FP&A processes to boost efficiency, consistency, data quality, and insight delivery speed.

• Mentor and support analysts and cross-functional partners, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and automation-first thinking.

• Cultivate constructive working relationships with business finance leaders and their teams.

• Provide support for ad hoc and strategic analyses related to business and finance initiatives.

• Report to the Finance Director while maintaining close collaboration with Corporate FP&A.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• 5-8 years of progressive experience in finance.

• Experience in FP&A and business partnerships is preferred.

• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint are required.

• Familiarity with Workday and Adaptive Insights is essential.

• Strong financial acumen with an emphasis on quality, accuracy, and controls.

• Proven ability to collaborate with leaders, effectively communicate insights, and aid decision-making in a complex environment.

• Demonstrated interest in automation, process transformation, and modernization within the finance sector.

• Previous experience in supporting analysts, projects, or cross-functional workstreams is preferred.

• Anticipate less than 5% travel.

• Must possess work authorization in the United States that does not currently or will not in the future require visa sponsorship.
