This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise Finance & Accounting operations for the TPR Hospital-based division.
• Report directly to the Sr Finance Director and assist with both reporting and daily requests across hospital-based markets.
• Extract and consolidate data from various systems to create analyses that support month-end closing and reporting needs.
• Oversee the month-end financial closing process in collaboration with TPR and Global Business Center accounting teams.
• Prepare subsidy calculations and reconciliations, while reviewing compensation and expense accruals and allocations.
• Examine and finalize wRVU/ASA Units, Clinical Compensation, and G/L account analyses to identify budget variances.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to address potential issues.
• Develop monthly MOR presentations that include both summary and detailed financial information along with KPIs.
• Create annual budgets and quarterly forecast updates in partnership with the operations team.
• Prepare proformas for new hospital contracts.
• Create proformas for physician new hires, renewals, and amendments.
• Prepare monthly top-side templates for physician new hires and attrition templates for physician terminations.
• Construct and implement corporate- and market-level reports and dashboards.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 5 years of financial analysis experience within the healthcare sector.
• High level of analytical expertise.
• Extensive knowledge and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Intermediate understanding of financial modeling techniques.
• Capacity to identify and execute process, technology, and efficiency enhancements.
• Conceptual problem-solving and analytical skills using complex spreadsheets, comparison tools, and evaluation systems.
• Strong investigative skills, meticulous attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Capability to independently organize work plans within a team framework.
• Ability to cultivate constructive working relationships.
• Proficient in both oral and written communication with individuals of varying knowledge levels.
• Occasional travel to Dallas, TX for meetings and/or team-building activities.
• Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Working knowledge of wRVUs, Medicare/Medicaid physician reimbursement regulations, and physician compensation contracts.
• Competence in reading and interpreting contracts.
• Experience in building and deploying corporate- and market-level reports and dashboards.
• Preferably possesses an advanced understanding of wRVU principles, physician reimbursement, accounts payable management, coding, physician practice key indicators, and MGMA benchmarks.
