Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Act as a trusted business partner within the Finance department.

• Oversee monthly closing procedures and financial reporting.

• Actively engage in monthly closing activities for designated entities.

• Review the precision and completeness of accounting entries.

• Generate variance analyses and provide financial commentary.

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of financial results.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to facilitate audit and review processes.

• Conduct profitability analyses for the entities and products you are responsible for.

• Offer assistance with other Finance / FP&A related inquiries.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to aid in monthly closing analysis and ARR.

• Execute and validate contract renewal calculations and accounting in compliance with IFRS 15.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of pertinent experience in finance or accounting.

• CPA designation is mandatory.

• Experience in private equity and/or SaaS settings is a significant advantage.

• Strong background in monthly closing and financial reporting.

• Advanced financial modeling expertise to support analysis and decision-making.

• Practical understanding of IFRS 15 and revenue recognition concepts.

• Proficient in Excel; familiarity with BI or reporting tools is a plus.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

• Strong business acumen and insight into the operational factors that affect financial performance.

• Capable of building trusted relationships and influencing business partner decisions.

• Demonstrates constructive critical thinking: able to question assumptions and provide actionable recommendations.
