Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Managing and supporting the financial activities of Mastercam’s European divisions

• Acting as the main financial business partner for the region

• Ensuring precise financial reporting, comprehensive financial analysis, and adherence to local and corporate regulations

• Preparing, reviewing, and evaluating financial outcomes

• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making

• Overseeing internal controls

• Guaranteeing compliance with statutory and regulatory standards

• Collaborating with external audit and tax consultants

• Serving as a connection between European business leaders and the finance team at U.S. headquarters

⛳️ Requirements

• Chartered Accountancy Qualification (or equivalent) is essential

• 6 - 9 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial management positions

• Experience in supporting multiple entities, regions, or international business units

• Strong skills in financial reporting and analysis

• Comprehensive understanding of month-end closing, balance sheet management, reconciliations, and financial controls

• Ability to analyze financial data and provide clear, actionable insights

• Highly organized, capable of managing deadlines across various entities

• Experience in supporting finance and accounting functions within European entities

• Knowledge of European statutory reporting, VAT, tax, or local compliance regulations

• Proficient in using ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar

• Proven ability to work independently while excelling in a fast-paced, collaborative, and globally distributed setting

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities, with the capacity to identify root causes, assess financial implications, and devise practical solutions
