Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Assist in auditing the financial operations of clients and propose enhancements

• Evaluate and refine financial processes and controls, promoting automation efficiencies

• Prepare and present detailed management accounts along with insightful commentary

• Generate and provide analysis on financial performance along with actionable recommendations

• Compile and present daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow reports

• Aid clients in their fundraising initiatives

• Construct and deliver financial models, budgets, and forecasts

• Assist in the development of financial models, budgets, and forecasts

• Execute ad hoc modeling tasks for pricing strategies or cost optimization decisions

• Communicate findings and suggestions to clients

• Oversee the daily operations of the eCommerce practice and its bookkeeping team

• Ensure accurate client invoicing and automate processes wherever feasible

• Support credit control and maintain debtor days within acceptable limits

• Uphold the company's brand, values, and behaviors

• Respond promptly to internal requests and set a benchmark for stakeholder management

• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong passion for problem-solving

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create complex models and handle large data sets

• Commitment to continuous process enhancement and efficiency improvement

• Commercial acumen and a solid understanding of business dynamics

• Ability to cultivate strong relationships within global finance and business teams

• Adaptability in a fast-paced business setting

• Over 5 years of experience reporting directly to an FD/CFO

• Eager, determined, and passionate about creating an impact and achieving results

• Experience in Retail, Marketplace, or DTC/eCommerce sectors

• Advanced MS Excel and IT capabilities, including proficiency in graphs, VLOOKUPs, and Pivot Tables

• Background in scale-up organizations

• Familiarity with eCommerce, wholesale, or finance platforms
