This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take full ownership of the seamless integration between Nivoda's platform and NetSuite — from design to deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Identify and resolve current NetSuite integration issues, ensuring the accuracy and dependability of data throughout the financial pipeline.
• Develop automated data workflows that facilitate the exchange of financial data between Nivoda's platform and NetSuite, reducing the need for manual intervention.
• Collaborate effectively with the Finance team and key stakeholders to comprehend requirements and translate them into effective engineering solutions.
• Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and testing mechanisms to proactively identify integration failures prior to their impact on business operations.
• Utilize Nivoda's existing technology stack (Node.js, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines) to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Take the initiative to communicate with stakeholders when clarification is needed; you seek answers rather than waiting for them.
• Own the integration roadmap, collaborating with Product and Engineering Managers to balance data accuracy and correctness with coverage for new product flows and attributes.
• Contribute to engineering best practices, including code reviews, documentation, and enhancing team standards.
• Serve as the primary resource for all matters at the intersection of financial systems and Nivoda's platform.
• Strong backend engineering foundation: you are primarily a software engineer with experience in object-oriented programming (preferably Node.js).
• Practical experience with integrating NetSuite: you have worked with NetSuite APIs, understand data flows, and can navigate the platform with confidence.
• Good grasp of accounting and finance principles: while you don’t need to be a CFO, you should understand financial data and the importance of accuracy.
• Experience in creating and maintaining integrations using AWS services, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven history of owning integrations from start to finish: you monitor, test, and resolve issues independently.
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders: you are comfortable reaching out proactively and translating complex technical concepts into simple terms for non-engineers.
• Located in Europe, preferably in the UK, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, or Stockholm.
• Flexible working hours and a dynamic company culture.
• Remote work opportunities.
• Private health insurance.
• Opportunities for personal and professional growth.
• Flexible compensation card (for meals, transport, childcare).
• Unlimited holiday allowance.
• Opportunity to join during our rapid expansion phase.
