Finance Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the FP&A function for the designated Business Unit, which includes monthly forecasts, annual budgeting, ad hoc analyses, and strategic initiatives.

• Lead, mentor, and provide constructive feedback and guidance to direct reports.

• Offer mentorship, training, and performance management for Finance personnel.

• Enhance analytics and telemetry to pinpoint efficiency and productivity drivers.

• Manage and lead backlog reporting across the organization to assist in prioritizing product activation and optimizing revenue outcomes.

• Develop management reporting in compliance with public company standards and GAAP.

• Take ownership of capacity modeling for all Delivery teams.

• Maintain intricate financial models for both monthly forecasting and annual budgeting.

• Potentially extend capacity modeling to other non-Delivery functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in Finance.

• Previous experience supporting a Delivery or Services Organization is preferred.

• Extensive experience in building and managing complex financial models.

• Proven ability to create sophisticated dashboards and KPIs.

• Management experience leading teams in at least the last two career roles.

• Experience in supporting senior business leadership at the VP level or higher.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Excellent organizational abilities with a knack for managing multiple priorities.

• High integrity and trustworthiness, with the capability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

• Proficient in effectively presenting information to C-Suite executives.

• Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent follow-up skills.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Proficiency in operating a personal computer.

• May be required to lift or move items weighing over 10 pounds.
