Finance Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for the precision and punctuality of monthly management P&L, KPIs, and operational metrics for each business within the portfolio.

• Develop and oversee a team of local financial professionals to ensure compliance with French statutory and regulatory requirements.

• Lead finance and accounting teams through the transition to Everfield's NetSuite platform.

• Manage the foundational accounting processes that support reported figures.

• Create and uphold annual budgets and rolling forecasts.

• Assemble Quarterly Update Review packs for Everfield's CEO, CFO, and COO.

• Mentor Business Unit Leaders on financial literacy and the use of Everfield ratios.

• Challenge and assist Business Unit Leaders in implementing Everfield's established revenue system.

• Identify operational efficiencies, accurately report headcount, and oversee overhead management.

• Collaborate with Business Unit Leaders on expense oversight and resource distribution to foster growth.

• Engage in the integration of newly acquired businesses, focusing on systems, data, and reporting design.

• Work alongside the Strategic Business Partner counterpart to manage daily relationships with businesses in the region.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed university degree along with a professional finance qualification (CA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent).

• Over 5 years of experience in Business Controlling, FP&A, or Finance Business Partnering.

• A solid technical foundation in accounting practices and controls.

• Competence in executing a clean close and ensuring third-party providers meet established standards.

• A commercial mindset with the ability to scrutinize growth strategies.

• Proven capability to lead and develop a team of regional finance specialists.

• Comfort in working within a decentralized, multi-entity, PE-backed setting.

• Proficiency in both English and French.

• Strong communication skills at all levels of an organization, from bookkeeper to CEO.

• Ideally, experience in rapidly growing technology or SaaS firms.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.
