This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Prepare materials to support discussions during financial, service, and program review meetings.
• Create and disseminate financial and non-financial metrics, pinpoint opportunities and risks, and suggest strategies for mitigation or capitalization.
• Compile and evaluate revenue, expense, and statistical reports.
• Maintain statistical data and verify its accuracy against financial reports and subsidiary ledgers/modules.
• Formulate and execute budgets and financials for designated business segments/service lines.
• Lead and engage in budget and forecast cycles, encompassing planning discussions, templates, training materials, reports, and analyses.
• Collaborate with department managers, Finance, and business segment/service lines to craft detailed budgets and forecasts while challenging assumptions.
• Deliver financial reporting, including actual-to-budget comparisons, variance analyses, financial statement packages, cost of service, forecasts, and MCO reporting.
• Develop and sustain productivity reports, assisting department managers in maintaining productivity levels.
• Prepare materials for executive staff, the Board of Directors, payers, and other meetings, and participate as necessary.
• Engage in cross-functional meetings to identify and address issues.
• Review processes aimed at enhancing revenue and efficiency and aid in evaluating business results.
• Approve purchase orders for the assigned segment/service line.
• Support annual audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Travel to community locations, agencies, and outreach destinations as required.
• Adhere to financial structure and service definition guidelines.
• Maintain necessary and requested training.
• Comply with agency policies and procedures.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (mandatory).
• 2–5 years of finance accounting experience (mandatory).
• Healthcare experience is not required.
• Must reside in North Carolina.
• Proficient in preparing and analyzing revenue, expense, and statistical reports.
• Knowledgeable about budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and monthly close processes.
• Capable of maintaining and verifying statistical and financial data.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with department managers, Finance, and business segment/service lines.
• Skilled in preparing audit schedules and addressing inquiries from auditors.
• Willingness to drive and travel to community locations, agencies, and outreach destinations as necessary.
• Ability to adhere to financial structure and service definition guidelines.
