Finance Automation Solution Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the solution design for finance automation utilizing Redwood Finance Automation.

• Evaluate the current record-to-report processes in collaboration with controllers and finance operations leaders.

• Create a design for target automation covering close, reconciliation, journals, and intercompany transactions.

• Assess which capabilities of Redwood meet requirements and identify areas where extensions are necessary.

• Develop integrations with SAP S/4HANA or ECC along with other source systems.

• Establish rules for balance sheet auto-certification, including controls, approvals, and audit trails.

• Support engineers throughout the build process and review the completed work against the design specifications.

• Define the testing strategy and acceptance criteria in partnership with finance users.

• Formulate a roadmap for future automation initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven ownership of solution design in at least one active Redwood Finance Automation (RunMyFinance) implementation, including conducting design workshops and drafting the design documentation.

• Minimum of 8 years' experience in finance transformation, finance systems, or record-to-report process design.

• Solid understanding of SAP FI/CO or its Oracle equivalent.

• Knowledge of how close and reconciliation data flows from the ERP to the automation layer.

• Experience facilitating workshops with finance users and translating their feedback into a viable design for building and testing.

• Capability to engage with senior finance stakeholders and justify design choices made.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory.

• Consultants must reside in Spain.
