Finance Automation Solution Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the solution design for finance automation utilizing Redwood Finance Automation.

• Assess the current state of record-to-report processes alongside controllers and finance operations leaders.

• Create a design for automation covering period-end close, reconciliations, journals, and intercompany transactions.

• Document the solution design to facilitate engineering implementation.

• Determine which standard Redwood features are applicable and identify areas where extensions are warranted.

• Develop integrations with SAP S/4HANA or ECC as well as other source systems.

• Establish rules for balance sheet auto-certification, including controls, approvals, and audit trails.

• Support engineers throughout the build process and evaluate deliverables against the design specifications.

• Formulate a testing strategy and acceptance criteria in collaboration with finance users.

• Offer a roadmap for future automation phases.

• Remain engaged during the build, testing, and go-live phases, making design decisions as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven ownership of solution design in at least one active Redwood Finance Automation (RunMyFinance) implementation, which includes conducting design workshops and drafting the design.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in finance transformation, finance systems, or record-to-report process design.

• Familiarity with SAP FI/CO or its Oracle equivalent.

• Insight into the flow of close and reconciliation data between the ERP and automation layers.

• Experience in leading workshops with finance users and translating their feedback into a feasible, testable design.

• Capacity to collaborate with senior finance stakeholders and substantiate design choices.

• Proficiency in the English language.

• Consultants must be located in Portugal.
