Finance Automation Solution Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the solution design for finance automation utilizing Redwood Finance Automation.

• Assess the current record-to-report processes in collaboration with controllers and finance operations leaders.

• Craft the target automation for period-end closing, reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany processes, and reporting.

• Determine where standard Redwood functionalities suffice and where enhancements are warranted.

• Create integration designs with SAP S/4HANA or ECC, along with other source systems.

• Develop rules for balance-sheet auto-certification, including controls, approvals, and audit trails.

• Guide engineers during the build phase and evaluate the completed work against the design specifications.

• Establish the testing strategy and acceptance criteria in conjunction with finance users.

• Assist in the solution throughout the build, testing, and go-live phases.

• Formulate a roadmap for future automation initiatives.

• Provide design insights when implementation challenges arise that may affect the original design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven solution design ownership in at least one active Redwood Finance Automation (RunMyFinance) implementation.

• Conducted design workshops and personally authored the solution design.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in finance transformation, finance systems, or record-to-report process design.

• Familiarity with SAP FI/CO or its Oracle counterpart.

• Knowledge of how closing and reconciliation data flows between the ERP and automation layers.

• Experience in facilitating workshops with finance users and converting requirements into actionable and testable designs.

• Capability to collaborate with senior finance stakeholders and justify design choices.

• Proficiency in the English language.

• Consultants must reside in Poland.

• Beneficial but not mandatory: hands-on experience with Redwood builds.

• Beneficial but not mandatory: experience with BlackLine, Trintech, or SAP Advanced Financial Closing.

• Beneficial but not mandatory: finance qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalents.

• Beneficial but not mandatory: experience in financial services or regulated industries, including SOX or similar audit controls.
