Finance Automation Solution Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Evaluate existing record-to-report processes in collaboration with controllers and finance operations leaders

• Create a target automation framework for period-end closing, reconciliations, journal entries, and intercompany transactions

• Determine where standard Redwood capabilities are adequate and where extensions are warranted

• Design integrations with SAP S/4HANA or ECC along with other source systems

• Establish rules for balance sheet auto-certification, including controls, approvals, and audit trails

• Assist engineers in the development process and review deliverables in accordance with the solution design

• Define testing strategies and acceptance criteria in partnership with finance users

• Create a roadmap for future waves of automation

⛳️ Requirements

• Take ownership of solution design for at least one active Redwood Finance Automation (RunMyFinance) implementation

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in finance transformation, finance systems, or record-to-report process design

• Proficient understanding of SAP FI/CO, or its Oracle equivalent

• Knowledge of how closing and reconciliation data flows between the ERP and the automation layer

• Experience conducting workshops with finance users and translating requirements into a feasible and testable design

• Capability to collaborate with senior finance stakeholders and justify design choices

• Located in Ireland

• Proficient in English
