Finance Analyst – Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to assist in the creation of procurement specifications.

• Facilitate the complete procurement cycle, including contract administration and vendor management.

• Aid in the preparation of the organization’s annual operating and capital budgets.

• Create, sustain, and enhance the vendor management framework.

• Support the formulation and execution of budget-specific policies and procedures.

• Conduct financial variance analysis and investigate discrepancies.

• Assist the system administrator in managing finance-related software.

• Provide quality financial analysis to support business cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed college diploma or university degree in a relevant field such as business or finance.

• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is preferred.

• At least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in finance, particularly in financial reporting and analysis.

• Demonstrated experience in contract management, strategic sourcing, and vendor governance.

• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.

• Proven experience in category management within technology, including management of critical and complex vendor relationships.

• Previous experience in preparing intricate annual operating budgets and forecasts is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of systems processes.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Advanced knowledge of financial system software, with Acumatica being an asset.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
