Finance Analyst

📋 Description

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of Acorns’ offerings, business model, and financial projections.

• Provide product managers and department heads with monthly analyses of business trends.

• Assist in formulating both short-term and long-term financial strategies.

• Contribute to financial reporting and conduct KPI variance assessments.

• Help facilitate critical strategic initiatives.

• Develop, sustain, and refine corporate financial models, including annual budgets, forecasts, and consolidated cash flows.

• Establish KPI frameworks.

• Evaluate the performance of product lines.

• Aid in significant decision-making processes related to go-to-market strategies, partnership discussions, and potential mergers and acquisitions.

• Craft clear presentations to communicate insights to key stakeholders.

• Collaborate directly with senior Finance leadership and cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, marketing, legal, and operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related quantitative discipline.

• At least one year of relevant industry experience in financial modeling, such as investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance.

• Proficient in executing complex financial models, analyzing raw data, and deriving clear conclusions.

• Possess a highly analytical mindset.

• Exhibit a strong level of organization, efficiency, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.

• Demonstrate a team-oriented attitude with a hands-on approach in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
