Finance & Accounting Outsourcing Manager – Not-for-Profit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the provision of outsourced accounting and financial reporting services for not-for-profit organizations.

• Act as a reliable advisor to clients.

• Guide, mentor, and cultivate the skills of accounting professionals.

• Manage the onboarding process for clients.

• Evaluate financial statements, management reporting packages, reconciliations, and other client outputs.

• Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, grant reporting, and requirements for board reporting.

• Track engagement performance, resource utilization, and client satisfaction levels.

• Discover opportunities to enhance efficiency via process improvements and technological solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• CPA certification preferred.

• More than 7 years of progressive experience in accounting.

• Management experience in a public accounting environment.

• Required experience in not-for-profit accounting.

• Comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, grant accounting, and fund accounting principles.

• Proven ability to lead and develop accounting professionals.

• Strong skills in project management, organization, and client relationship management.
