This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the entire video production process: From initial brief intake and concept formulation to shooting and final delivery. You will manage pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
• Direct and film on location: Travel to various shoot sites, operate the camera, set up lighting and audio equipment, and guide both internal spokespeople and external talent to create authentic, on-brand content.
• Create storyboards and conceptualize video content: Transform campaign briefs and brand strategies into engaging shot lists, storyboards, and detailed production plans.
• Develop AI-driven production infrastructure: Design and establish workflows and tools that enhance video output without increasing headcount. This includes building self-service editing systems using platforms like Descript, incorporating AI video tools (such as Runway, Sora, or similar) into the production workflow, and creating consistent processes that allow marketers to independently produce basic content—while you uphold quality standards.
• Edit and deliver refined, platform-ready content: Produce polished long-form brand films, product videos, customer stories, social media cut-downs, and variations for paid ads—all adhering to specifications and maintaining brand identity.
• Collaborate with our motion designer during post-production: Provide guidance on motion graphics, animations, and visual effects—including lower thirds, title cards, and transitions. You will establish direction, review cuts, and offer clear, actionable feedback. Complex UI animation and advanced motion tasks will be handled by the motion designer—your role is to ensure high quality and maintain close collaboration.
• Oversee the video production team: Foster professional development for our motion designer. Depending on project scope, you may also recruit, brief, and manage freelance video editors and production agencies—understanding when to engage external support and how to integrate it seamlessly while preserving quality and brand consistency.
• 7+ years of experience in video production with a portfolio showcasing complete ownership from concept to delivery.
• Demonstrated skills in camera operation.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Expert-level proficiency with AI-assisted video tools (such as Runway, Sora, or similar).
• Strong foundation in motion design—comfortable with lower thirds, title cards, and basic visual effects; knows when to delegate complex animation tasks to a specialist.
• Experience managing at least one direct report or motion designer.
• Proven ability to storyboard and conceptualize original video content.
• Background in producing across various formats: brand campaigns, product launches, customer stories, paid social media, and event content.
• Willingness to travel for shoots (approximately 15–20%).
• Employees may have the opportunity to purchase company stock (or receive annual bonuses).
• Employees (and their families) can enroll in the company's medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life insurance, FSA, and 401k plans.
• Employees will receive over 13.34 hours of paid time off each month, 6 self-care days, a birthday PTO day, and 12 company-paid holidays off annually.
