Filipino Translation, Localization Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Accountable for delivering high-quality translations of written materials, including new releases, marketing content, support knowledge base articles, and other customer-facing documents.

• Demonstrate adaptability and a positive attitude, as there will be instances of last-minute modifications to source materials.

• Employ strong organizational abilities to efficiently oversee both short-term and long-term projects, adjusting workflow priorities as necessary.

• Communicate proficiently within a highly collaborative team-oriented environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts or an equivalent degree, with a focus on translation, localization, linguistics, or game design being advantageous.

• Native fluency in Filipino with outstanding grammar proficiency.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Relevant gaming experience to ensure accurate translation of content within a gaming context.

• Prior experience in professional translation/localization, particularly in gaming and technical translation is preferred.

• Strong organizational and prioritization capabilities.

• A collaborative translator who thrives in a team setting and adapts well to tight deadlines.

• Familiarity with computer-assisted translation tools such as Crowdin, MemoQ, Memsource, SDL Trados, or Wordfast.

• Solid understanding of various Operating Systems including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and SharePoint.
