
Field Trial Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Organize, manage, and implement field trials with pilot customers or partners.
• Act as the main technical liaison between the customer and internal engineering teams throughout the trial process.
• Establish trial objectives, criteria for success, and overall scope.
• Oversee trial deployments and gather performance and feedback data.
• Record and monitor issues identified during the trial.
• Provide consistent status updates and reports to stakeholders.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to drive product enhancements.
• Ensure the proper setup and support of trial environments.
• Aid in the transition of successful trials to general availability (GA).
• Lead cross-functional meetings to identify key integration points necessary for field trial testing.
• Collaborate with the team to develop processes for verifying product installation and performance during Alpha/Beta phases.
• Create a risk management strategy to mitigate internal and external exposure during the field trial.
• Attend field trial installations as required to validate program assumptions, processes, and field use cases.
• Facilitate tracking and resolution of issues arising from customer labs and field trials to ensure external quality monitoring.
• Document technical insights gained and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders to ensure closure of identified gaps.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• Experience in Program Management is preferred.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with production practices and testing procedures.
• Strong facilitation and conflict resolution capabilities.
• Demonstrated skills in time management and project management.
• In-depth knowledge of Gilbarco Products is essential.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong personal commitment to quality and timely delivery.
• Must be adaptable, flexible, and proactive in addressing technical challenges.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
