Field Technician – Environmental Construction Application

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Provide support for all water and sewer infrastructure requirements at project locations across the southeastern region.

• Conduct regular maintenance on equipment as required.

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and carrying out field responsibilities.

• Adhere to environmental regulations and company policies.

• Maintain clear and effective communication with plant supervisors and team members regarding any concerns, modifications, or equipment issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent.

• Demonstrated experience in operating dredge units or heavy equipment within water treatment facilities, construction, or comparable environments.

• Knowledge of water treatment processes and the handling of chemicals for treatment purposes.

• Physical capability and readiness to perform manual tasks, including lifting and transporting equipment and materials.

• Basic understanding of sludge removal and disposal methods.

• Competence in remote control operation and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new machinery and technologies.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

• Keen attention to detail and a focus on safety in a field environment.

• Capacity to work under varying weather conditions and adjust to changing work schedules as required.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
