This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Gather samples and perform observations of products, raw materials, and equipment at various field sites.
• Properly label sample containers and accompanying documentation with identification details, location, date, and time of collection.
• Transport samples to specified locations for analysis while ensuring adherence to appropriate handling procedures.
• Collect samples from designated locations and processing states at specified time intervals.
• Operate and maintain field instruments, tools, and equipment.
• Organize, clean, and inspect equipment and containers both before and after use.
• Wear and ensure the proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Keep thorough and precise records of field activities, observations, and test results.
• Follow local, state, and federal safety processes, procedures, and regulations.
• Report field findings and issues to team members and supervisors.
• Assist team members and foster a collaborative, safety-oriented atmosphere.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• No prior field experience is necessary; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks accurately and punctually.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• MSHA 24-hour surface Mine Safety and Health Administration certification may be necessary; training will be provided by the organization.
• Intermediate English language proficiency is required (Advanced preferred).
• Basic mathematical skills are necessary (Intermediate preferred).
• Intermediate problem-solving and reasoning skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Capability to read, interpret, and adhere to technical documents, safety regulations, and procedural manuals.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to work independently with moderate supervision.
• Ability to operate hand tools and basic field equipment.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor settings.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing work assignments and on-call schedules.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Ability to operate field sampling and testing equipment.
• Proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
