This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

• Oversee the installation and commissioning of OPTEL systems at customer locations.

• Execute mechanical and electrical installations while ensuring adherence to quality standards.

• Work alongside the technical support and factory design teams to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.

• Provide training for end-users on the effective use of OPTEL systems.

• Generate thorough and precise installation reports.

• Assist clients during the system qualification process.

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on installed systems as requested by the customer service department.

• Conduct engineering visits as necessary.

• Create detailed service reports.

• Identify potential sales opportunities, including new contracts and complementary systems.

• A college diploma in electronics, computer science, electromechanics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• In-depth knowledge of computer science and electronics.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetics industries is an asset.

• Practical experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for clearly explaining complex technical concepts.

• Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the capability to work efficiently under pressure.

• A strong client-focused approach and solid teamwork abilities.

• Resourcefulness, adaptability, versatility, and flexibility.

• Willingness to travel approximately three weeks per month.

• A valid driver’s license and passport.

• An eagerness to learn and embrace new technologies, particularly in the realm of artificial intelligence.
