Field Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Implement OPTEL systems at client locations in line with established protocols.

• Execute mechanical and electrical installations while adhering to quality standards.

• Work collaboratively with the technical support and factory design teams to identify and resolve issues.

• Educate end-users on the correct operation of OPTEL systems.

• Generate complete and precise installation documentation.

• Assist clients during system qualification processes.

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on installed systems as requested by the customer service team.

• Conduct engineering visits as necessary.

• Create detailed service reports.

• Recognize potential sales opportunities, including new contracts and complementary systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• College diploma in electronics, computer science, electromechanics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Strong foundation in computer science and electronics.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetics sectors is an asset.

• Practical experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for articulating complex technical concepts clearly.

• Outstanding time management, prioritization skills, and capability to perform effectively under pressure.

• Strong client-focused approach and solid teamwork abilities.

• Resourceful, adaptable, versatile, and flexible.

• Willingness to travel approximately three weeks each month.

• Valid driver’s license and passport.

• High curiosity and eagerness to learn and embrace new technologies, especially artificial intelligence.
