Field Support Specialist – Food & Beverage – Dairy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.

📋 Description

• Offer primary support to the district to ensure that cleaning and sanitizing chemicals and equipment are utilized effectively, economically, and safely.

• Perform routine service visits and testing to guarantee safe and effective food safety programs.

• Oversee and enhance CIP and OPC programs.

• Create processes for improvement in Clean-In-Place operations within food, beverage, and dairy facilities.

• Collaborate with sales account managers on the design and execution of cleaning and sanitizing programs.

• Update databases following service visits and produce weekly service reports.

• Provide assistance with technical issues at customer locations, communicate challenges to customers, and formulate corrective-action plans.

• Keep sales account managers updated on issues at customer sites.

• Recognize growth opportunities with existing customers and support prospect-account opportunities.

• Aid in data analysis regarding program performance.

• Monitor and maintain chemical feed and monitoring equipment.

• Engage in technical training opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or another technical field, with relevant experience considered in place of a technical degree.

• Capability to resolve complex and non-routine technical challenges.

• Strong skills in relationship management.

• Knowledgeable about the industry and customers, or the capacity to quickly learn about industry and Solenis technologies.

• Results-driven; actively addresses complex issues.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

• Must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and physical examination.

• Valid Driver's License and a clean motor vehicle record are required.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Ability to work in an industrial plant setting and adhere to company and customer plant safety and OSHA regulations.
