This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Travel to client locations, test ranges, and program sites to install, configure, operate, and maintain sensor, software, and autonomous platform systems.
• Perform pre-deployment checks and assemble field kits, hardware, and software builds to ensure mission readiness.
• Identify and resolve software-level issues in deployed systems, including embedded software, ATAK-integrated applications, and AI/ML-enabled sensor pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and fix mechanical, electromechanical, and hardware problems, conducting component-level repairs and adjustments in the field.
• Act as the primary technical liaison for customers and government program personnel on-site.
• Record field issues and performance results; communicate findings back to the Software and Mechanical Engineering teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 4 years of combined experience in software and mechanical engineering, including roles in field service, test & evaluation, or military UAS/sensor systems.
• Proficiency in a minimum of one programming language (Python, C++, C, or MATLAB) and CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems and command-line operations.
• Capability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently (60–70%), including to remote field environments.
