Field Services Specialist – WOW Cart Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of the enterprise Workstation-on-Wheels (WOW) fleet, from intake and procurement to deployment and decommissioning.

• Ensure precise hardware asset management records are maintained across multiple site markets.

• Collaborate with OEM cart vendors and HCL Field Services to address complex hardware failures and tackle technical escalations.

• Manage Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance across designated healthcare regions.

• Perform analysis to determine whether to repair or replace hardware and review OEM warranty claims.

• Approve repair quotes and oversee parts logistics to reduce mean time to repair and maximize lifecycle return on investment (ROI).

• Monitor and manage high-volume hardware incident and request queues until resolution.

• Evaluate failure trends, recurring hardware issues, vendor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and repair expenditure data.

• Enhance operational reporting and refine national field-service support processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR an Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of relevant cumulative job-specific experience required.

• Advanced expertise in data-driven asset management, including tracking warranty lifecycle metrics, forecasting parts inventory, and conducting cost-benefit analysis for enterprise hardware fleets.

• Proven history of functioning within stringent healthcare data privacy and regulatory compliance frameworks.

• Demonstrated practical experience coordinating cross-functional logistics with procurement, finance, and enterprise supply chain teams.

• Experience in optimizing hardware acquisition processes and enforcing vendor SLAs.
