Field Services Engineer – Trainee

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the setup, upkeep, and repair of sophisticated medical devices utilized by hospitals and healthcare providers.

• Carry out preventive maintenance according to company protocols and manufacturer specifications.

• Support corrective maintenance, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues at client locations.

• Aid in the implementation of Field Modification Instructions and product updates.

• Engage in installation, upgrade, and system enhancement initiatives.

• Utilize structured troubleshooting techniques to identify and fix technical problems.

• Organize and conduct customer visits while ensuring professionalism and satisfaction.

• Record service activities using company systems and tools.

• Oversee and manage spare parts, tools, and service inventory.

• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with team members, technical support, and stakeholders to address customer challenges.

• Maintain a strong focus on customer experience and operational excellence.

• Educational background or apprenticeship in electronics, automation, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.

• A keen interest in technology, troubleshooting, and practical problem-solving.

• Capability to work autonomously while being a valuable team player.

• Methodical and organized approach to planning and documentation.

• Valid driver's license.

• Openness to travel within the local area and occasionally stay overnight as necessary.
