
Field Services Engineer III – Nevada

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Travel to customer locations within the designated Nevada region to provide installation and repair assistance.
• Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify specified equipment.
• Conduct maintenance and provide technical support for equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and software.
• Analyze and assess products and their performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to swiftly resolve problems.
• Implement upgrades and configuration updates for imaging and navigation equipment.
• Lead and engage in technical repair and clinical-use training for domestic, international, and third-party personnel.
• Offer testing and validation assistance to the manufacturer’s organization.
• Keep precise records of customer complaints, follow-ups, root-cause analyses, and resolutions.
• Support the maintenance and repairs of Mazor robotic guidance and O-arm surgical imaging systems utilized in spinal and cranial procedures.
• Manage an autonomous schedule and prioritize service calls throughout the territory.
• Collaborate directly with clinical staff to comprehend issues and restore system functionality.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a technician, in clinical field service, or in clinical customer support.
• Preference will be given to candidates who are local to Nevada.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering, engineering, or a technology-related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as a technician or in field services within the medical device industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with orthopedic anatomy, surgical protocol, and medical terminology is preferred.
• Strong skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of commonly used testing equipment, including dosimeters, power supplies, DVMs, signal generators, and flow meters.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with FDA 21 CFR and CGMP regulations for medical devices.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Capability to convey complex technical issues clearly.
• Responsive and action-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire and throughout employment.
• For bachelor’s degrees obtained outside the United States, the degree must meet the criteria outlined in 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
