This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Conduct electro-mechanical tasks within a computer-based setting, providing support and troubleshooting alongside engineers.
• Collaborate with the team to test, install, initiate, and demonstrate BW Converting equipment.
• Educate customers on the use and upkeep of equipment.
• Organize and execute responsibilities to install, demonstrate, and train customer employees.
• Interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, machine manuals, technical procedures, and specifications.
• Configure and operate machinery to manufacture the customer's product.
• Carry out routine and/or emergency mechanical/electrical service on company equipment.
• Serve as a bridge between the customer and the company, fostering positive relationships.
• Cultivate and maintain a safety-oriented environment that encourages a safety-first mindset.
• An Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or a related discipline is mandatory.
• A B.S. degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old at the time of hire to operate equipment.
• A solid mechanical and/or electrical skill set is essential to perform a variety of tasks in this role.
• Familiarity with basic web handling and industrial experience, particularly in Paper Products, Packaging, Nonwovens, or Flexographic presses, is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Giddings & Lewis, Rockwell, and Siemens PLC is highly recommended.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time is required.
