
Field Service Technician – Ship Electronics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Carry out maintenance and repairs on both seagoing and inland vessels.
• Diagnose issues with nautical navigation and communication systems, control panels, power management systems, as well as automation and power distribution systems.
• Commission electrical systems for newly constructed vessels.
• Engage in sea trials and acceptance testing.
• Develop service, maintenance, and commissioning documentation.
• Offer technical guidance and training to ship crews.
• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering.
• Class B driving license and readiness to travel throughout Europe (4–5 days per week).
• Ideally, some practical experience in technical service or installation.
• Preferably knowledgeable in ship operational technology, power distribution, or communication technology.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Confident in using modern IT and communication technologies.
• Enjoy working independently and taking on responsibility.
