Field Service Technician – Mechatronics, Packaging Machines

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Commissioning of electrical systems and machinery, along with modifications and retrofits at our clients' locations, both nationally and internationally.

• Installation of machinery and conducting inspections/testing of control cabinets.

• Assistance with FAT/SAT (Factory Acceptance Test / Site Acceptance Test) both in-house and at customer locations.

• Identification and resolution of electrical faults, including troubleshooting of control systems (PLCs), sensors, and actuators.

• Conducting maintenance and service tasks while implementing enhancements (e.g., related to stability or performance).

• Drafting service reports and documenting assignments.

• Providing training and guidance to our customers' operating and maintenance staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) or Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d), or an equivalent qualification.

• Several years of relevant experience in machine or plant engineering is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of control technology (TIA Portal/Machine Expert), PLC programming, electrical schematics (EPLAN P8), as well as drive technology and sensors.

• Ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and with reliability and a service-oriented approach.

• Customer-centric attitude and excellent problem-solving capabilities.

• Eagerness to learn; potential for advancement to a site manager role.

• Willingness to travel (minimum 50%); a company car will be provided and can be used for personal purposes.

• Proficient in German and basic knowledge of English.

• Valid driving license class B.
