This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Commission, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment related to new Data Center Cooling initiatives.
• Examine work orders, blueprints, schematic diagrams, and associated materials to ascertain the tasks to be completed, as well as the tools, equipment, and components required for installation or repair.
• Exhibit a proven track record of managing complex projects aimed at minimizing the impact on the customer's experience while also reducing the financial implications for the company.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to address unique challenges in system operation and maintenance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients while upholding a professional appearance and demeanor.
• May provide management with insights regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and recommendations for product enhancements.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Three to five years of experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; HVAC servicing or similar electromechanical experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel approximately 85% of the time to various job sites for commissioning and warranty tasks.
• Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and manuals.
• Ability to remain engaged in projects through root cause analysis.
• Outstanding customer service skills with a strong desire to surpass the expectations of both internal and external customers.
• Capability to work independently and efficiently, ensuring that tasks are completed accurately alongside external technicians and following up on parts delivery.
• Preferred trade/technical school education or certification is a plus.
• Experience with industrial HVAC equipment or similar electromechanical products is favored.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Intermediate experience with commercial projects.
• Familiarity with building automation systems is an advantage.
